Pest Control

Who we are

Protecting health and property for over 30 years

Envirosafe is a family-owned pest control company working out of Belmont, and we have handled Gaston County homes and businesses for more than thirty years. Our approach is built around organic and low environmental impact products, applied where pests actually travel rather than sprayed broadly across the areas your family and pets use.

You are not locked into a plan you do not need. We offer one-time service for a specific problem, and three ongoing protection plans for homes that want the problem handled before it starts. If a one-time visit will solve it, we will tell you that instead of selling you a subscription.

Every technician is trained in low-impact treatment methods and in identifying what you are actually dealing with, because the wrong diagnosis means the wrong treatment, and you pay for it twice.

Also worth a look: our Ultra Yard Plan, our Year-Round Ant & Fire Ant Plan, and our Termite Control page.

What we treat

What We Treat

Envirosafe handles the full range of household and structural pests across Gaston, Mecklenburg and York counties. Each of these has its own page with the detail on how we approach it:

Your options

One Time Service or an Ongoing Plan

One time visit

Some problems are a single event. A nest in the eave, a swarm of ants after a heavy rain, one bad week of roaches after the neighbor moved out. Those get a one time visit and they are done.

Ongoing plan

Other problems are a condition, not an event. A house backed up to a tree line, a crawl space that stays damp, a neighborhood built on old farmland with a fire ant population that has been there longer than the subdivision. Those come back on a schedule, and treating them on a schedule costs less than treating them as emergencies.

We will tell you which one you have. If a single visit solves it, that is what we will recommend, and we will say so instead of putting you on a plan you do not need. If you want ongoing coverage, the perimeter service runs quarterly, every three months, and the pricing is based on up to 2,500 square feet. Our Ultra Yard Plan covers the outdoor side for properties where the yard is the problem.

Step by step

How a Service Visit Actually Works

1
Identification first

The wrong ID means the wrong treatment and you pay for it twice. Odorous house ants, Argentine ants and carpenter ants all look similar to a homeowner and all need different handling. Same with a "bee" that turns out to be a yellow jacket.

2
Inspection

We look for where they are getting in and what is drawing them, not just where you are seeing them. That means the foundation line, the crawl space, the roofline, the plumbing penetrations, the moisture, the food source.

3
Targeted treatment

Products go where pests actually travel: cracks, voids, entry points, the perimeter band, the harborage. Not broadcast across the areas where your family and pets spend their time.

4
Exclusion where it helps

Sealing an entry point permanently beats spraying it every quarter. That is a separate service on its own page, and sometimes it is the better buy.

5
Follow up

If something is still active, we come back.

Our standard

Low Impact Does Not Mean Low Effect

We built this business on organic and low environmental impact products, and we have run it that way for over thirty years in a market where most companies did not. That is not a marketing angle here, it is the same standard the licensee applies to the asbestos and environmental side of the company.

What it means in practice: the material used is chosen for the target pest and placed where that pest travels, at the label rate, by a technician trained in low impact methods. Less product, better placed, beats more product sprayed everywhere. It is also why we are the company that will tell you the honey bees in your soffit get relocated rather than killed, through our Save the Bees Initiative.

FAQ

Common Questions

How much does pest control cost?

Ongoing perimeter service is priced on the home, based on up to 2,500 square feet, with quarterly visits. One time treatments are priced by the problem. Call 704-860-2041 and describe what you are seeing and we can give you a real number rather than a range.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

That is the reason the company works the way it does. Products are low impact and placed in cracks, voids and along entry points rather than broadcast over living areas. We will tell you what was used and when it is dry.

Do I need quarterly service or will one visit do it?

Depends whether you have an event or a condition. We will tell you honestly which one it is after the inspection.

How soon can you come out?

Call and we will schedule you. Stinging insects, rodents in the living space and anything involving a sting allergy get moved up.

Do you treat inside as well as outside?

Yes. Most of the work is exterior, because keeping them out beats chasing them once they are in, but interior treatment is part of the service when the problem is already inside.

What if the pests come back between visits?

On an ongoing plan we come back out. That is the point of the plan.
